Wacom presents new Case Study at Salon Documation in Paris



2012, Marsch - Wacom preannounce the upcoming case study in cooperation with BNP Paribas Guadeloupe, the local branch of BNP Paribas, one of the leading French banks, operating in more than 80 countries. During Salon Documation Wacom will introduce the bank´s successful implementation of handwritten electronic signature to public for the first time.

BNP Paribas Guadeloupe is one of the first French banks, achieving a complete dematerialisation of documents by involving a signature tablet into its processes. Proven the legal binding of electronic signature, the bank even carries out all contracts digitally, asking its clients to provide the signature on the tablet.

Wacom will be supported by its signature partner SIMA and Lex Persona, supervising the project from the legal perspective. Giving deep insights into the installation process, legal issues and the benefits BNP Paribas has experienced since the rollout, attendances will have the opportunity to get in touch with electronic signature solution from a practical perspective. Visitors of the event can attend the workshop about “Handwritten Electronic Signature by Wacom – The case BNP Paribas” on the 21st March at 4.30 PM. Salon Documation is taking place on the 21st – 22nd March at the CNIT La Défense conference center in Paris.
